The work of the human body implies a significant complexity of the connections and interactions between its systems. It can be clearly seen in the endocrine and the central nervous system as they cooperate in the task of transferring hormones. However, not only the involvement of several parts can be described as a complex process since the responses of organs within a single system are also related to various sorts of dynamics. From this perspective, the consideration of the cooperation of the endocrine system with the central nervous system, as well as the work of the latter, will demonstrate the complicated nature of the human body.

The first aspect is the interaction of body systems and organs, and it can be revealed through the definition of the role of brain structures in linking them. In this way, the master gland of the endocrine system, also known as the hypothalamus, controls its processes and connects it to the central nervous system with the help of the pituitary gland. Endocrine glands perform multiple tasks, including the creation of links in the body and the production of chemical messengers or hormones, such as adrenaline or estrogen, which transmit the information from one set of cells to another. These messengers contained in the central nervous system are neurotransmitters such as dopamine or serotonin, but the difference between them is in the fact that the latter passes messages on to neurons and muscles.

It is clear that tracing the work of body systems in their cooperation is easier than considering them separately. Nevertheless, this perspective can also contribute to a better understanding of the human body. Thus, for example, the central nervous systems neural plasticity defines its efficiency in interacting with the environment and adjusting to it in the case of emergencies such as various damages. This quality is significant for operations like hemispherectomy, which is the process of disconnecting an affected hemisphere from the one that is functioning properly. In this case, the importance of neural plasticity for the procedure is defined by the brains ability to recover from such interventions.

To sum up, the work of the human body is seen in the interactions of organs and systems as well as in the processes in its separate parts. The former is the cooperation of the central nervous system and the endocrine system, whereas the latter includes neural plasticity of the links between neurons and muscles. These examples reflect the overall adjustability of the body depending on external circumstances, and various hormones add to its ability to survive in different situations.
