Over the past years, the notion of healthcare has become quite closely correlated with explicit activism and initiatives taking place in the filed. If previously, people perceived healthcare as a set of standards applicable for providing quality healthcare to people, todays interpretation of the terms has gone beyond these patterns towards introducing ways to address various ethical issues. In order for healthcare to become more accessible and qualified every day, various federal and non-governmental organizations were introduced to the broad audience. However, while NGOs are seemingly more involved in enhancing healthcare access and quality, the federal bodys decision matters the most to the innovations in the sector.

When it comes to the US healthcare discourse, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is one of the most notorious deliberative bodies that actively promote public intervention in the decision-making process. According to the organizations profile, some of its major concerns include reassuring high-quality staff recruitment across the state, healthcare provision in terms of equipment and innovative treatment methodologies, and data measurement for policymakers (AHRQ, 2018). However, while each of these tasks is crucial for the steady development of national healthcare, the amount of responsibility taken on the organization might disrupt its overall efficiency. Hence, in order to make sure that all of the aforementioned factors are analyzed and improved, AHRQ might consider re-establishing its structure in terms of the committee number. Once divided into smaller task forces, the overall efficiency of the organization might be increased significantly.

Another example of a federal healthcare organization is the American Hospital Association (AHA). The deliberative body primarily deals with establishing and fulfilling quality standards in the hospitals across the state while maintaining close cooperation with the community and patients (AHA, 2020). Collaborating with more than 5,000 hospitals nationwide, the organization has achieved a considerable increase in the overall treatment quality provided in the facilities. However, regarding the overall US healthcare context, it is evident that the gap between financing and quality level across the hospitals is unprecedentedly big. Hence, it is highly recommended for the AHA to pay attention to the ways of establishing patterns of equal healthcare access in hospitals.
