Everything in the world has its practical value, destination and purpose. There are some genuinely beautiful things whereas others do not represent any aesthetical or practical preciousness at the first sight. People utilize ones on the everyday basis and neglect others that they may not even notice during their whole lives. However, everything in our world has been designed for something and fulfills its aim productively. The categories that are discussed in the present work are art, nature and emotions. On the one hand, these things are not the subjects of utmost importance in the life of every person because everyone may live without appreciation of art, being close to nature or expressing any kind of emotions. Nevertheless, one will hardly object to the fact that these three concepts are very alike in the vagueness of their function, in the delicacy they bring into the human life and the way they enrich it in their unusual, particular way.

All three mentioned categories represent a part of human life that seems to be excessive from the very beginning and it is true that a person can deal without them without feeling uncomfortable, limited, or deprived of something. However, the presence of these notions in the life of every person is the sign of his or her spirituality, and if the person lacks some of these categories and feels uncomfortable about this, then he or she may be called a real, thinking and feeling individual: a human being. Art is present in the expressions of emotions fixed in some material, or music, and it nurtures human spirituality enabling people to understand how much they had, are having and will have in future. Nature is something surrounding us and being non-intrusive, but at the same time giving us the air to breathe, the grass to walk, the trees to hide from the sun or rain it is everything that we have if we have nothing. There is so much beauty in a tree in blossom or in a falling yellow leaf that one can hardly help thinking about art when looking at them.

Emotions are an issue that falls under the same category because of the materialization of peoples minds and their growing inability to feel genuine emotions as well as express them freely. People have become too obsessed with particular material, down-to-earth problems that they have forgotten about the beauty of nature, the value of art, the treasure a simple childs smile conceals. For this reason, it has become a true art to express emotions, to accept them into ones heart and not to be afraid to show them in public. People living in materialistic, pragmatic terms think that expressing feelings is a weakness, thus depriving themselves of the real, enriched life they may lead.

Consequently, it is possible to say that all three categories may be classified as vital supplements to the ordinary human life that may make it more vivid, expressive, interesting and extraordinary. However, they have mostly been neglected within the past few decades due to the materialistic approach to life. Thus, it is necessary to do everything possible to enhance peoples understanding of necessity of these seemingly unnecessary things to help them not lose something of key importance, even if they do not need it at once.
