I have chosen Claude Monets painting as it illustrates a very vibrant floral setting, demonstrating the pure beauty of nature. Considering my intentions of presenting a contrast between earlier depictions of nature and the modern environmental predicament, the brilliant green colors of the painting would facilitate the contrasting process.

To make the image my own, I experimented with the lighting and brightness of the original painting, as well as the blurring of some parts. To reach that effect, I used Adobe Photoshop and other editing tools. For this effect, I needed to find some teaching information about working with editing programs and tools like exposure and shadows.

I would like my work to emphasize the urgency to protect the greenery from being completely destroyed by humanity so that its beauty and gift can be captured as in Monets painting. Working on this made me think about how harmful humanity is to the planet. I was frustrated and upset. But then the realization that it is still possible to find wonder in everything we have now came, and I decided to show the hurt beauty in this picture so that some people might get the idea of the existing ecological issue. Therefore, I portrayed nature as it is now in certain parts of the world gloomy, lifeless, and polluted.
