The main idea of this story shows that Mathilde care’s about paying up for the lost necklace more then she cares about her life of being happy with her husband. This show’s that lot of women can never be happy because they care about how they look instead of being grateful of what they already have. Some of them make things far more cherished than it should be, and that they fail to assume responsibility for their actions.
