Introduction

So far, there are several main theoretical perspectives that dominate in the field of psychology and that are being studied by scholars. In various ways, they all explain human behavior in particular conditions and situations, although this same behavior may be interpreted differently in these theories. The assignment aims at examining psychological views on the nature of behavior in such approaches as Neuroscientific or Biological, Cognitive, Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic.

Main body

According to the Behavioral approach, the observed variability in peoples behavior in the same conditions, for example, participating in a typical production tasks performance, should be explained by the individual traits. Behavioral genetics uses generally informative models to understand the nature and origin of an individuals behavioral differences. According to the psychologist G. Allport, who understood a persons behavior as a struggle for the realization of the possibilities available, a person can have from two to ten main features that characterize their lifestyle.

The Psychodynamic perspective asserts that unconscious mental processes determine the thoughts and feelings of people. This view of psychology and human behavior emphasizes the role of early childhood and interpersonal relationships in explaining human behavior and treating people with mental illness. In comparison, the Neuroscientific or Biological perspective states that the brains structure and functions are associated with specific behavioral and psychological processes. Biological psychologists argue that behavior is intertwined with the nervous system.

A Cognitive approach, in particular, cognitive psychology, suggests that cognition, mental processes, underlie behavior. Everything that constitutes mental activity has an impact on it. The Humanistic point of view asserts that the semantic structure of the human personality, its highest values, freedom, love for beauty, and moral properties of development are the basis of behavior. Those with a humanistic perspective focus on how people seek to grow, change, and develop their potential.

Conclusion

To summarize, currently, there are many different ways to think about human intelligence and behavior. Therefore, the variety of modern psychological perspectives that explain them give researchers and students the tools to approach related problems. As a consequence, it helps to find new ways to explain and predict human behavior, which leads to the development of new approaches to the treatment of mental health issues.
