Two fields out of the three got used while the other one remained farrow for the season. They were using horses in farming instead of oxen since they were faster. The geographical area administered by a ruler could manifest his mightiness and greatness. The ruler ensured he guarded his area out of enemies invasion, and promoted good social well-being of the people.
